We are very pleased to announce that we have finally managed to document all the features and functions of LiaScript. All? Well, let’s say 98%. A few things are still secret ;-) or we are still searching for the best possible implementation. To cut a long story short, the interactive version is available here:

Yes, it is also possible to reference existing documents so that they can be edited directly. Don’t worry, everything happens only in the browser; you won’t change the original file. Interestingly, some things randomly emerge from the recombination of LiaScript features. ASCII art pictures can be combined nicely with quizzes, scripts with tables, or macros with links… If anyone finds errors, suggestions for improvement, or optimizations, please feel free to email us or via GitHub:

Recently, we have been focusing more on our OER Remote Labs in Freiberg as part of the CrossLab consortium project. However, documentation and more example labs are still missing, and we are currently working on both. The goal is the same as with LiaScript, but instead of sharing interactive courses, we want to share labs. We have utilized our knowledge gained from developing the LiaScript classroom and applied it to labs. All you need is a browser; the lab configuration and real-time data are transmitted via peer-to-peer technologies. In the following video, André talks about the development of LiaScript and also showcases the current status of our Remote Labs:

Ja, es ist auch möglich, auf existierende Dokumente zu verweisen, sodass sie direkt bearbeitet werden können. Keine Angst, alles geschieht nur im Browser; ihr verändert nicht die originale Datei. Interessanterweise ergeben sich manche Sachen zufälligerweise aus der Rekombination der LiaScript-Features. So lassen sich ASCII-Art-Bilder prima mit Quizzen kombinieren, Scripte mit Tabellen oder Macros mit Links … Wenn jemand Fehler, Verbesserungsvorschläge oder Optimierungen findet, dann gerne per E-Mail an uns oder via GitHub:

In letzter Zeit haben wir uns in Freiberg etwas mehr auf unsere OER RemoteLabore als Teil des CrossLab-Verbundprojektes konzentriert. Hier fehlt aber noch die Dokumentation und mehr Beispiel-Labore, an beidem arbeiten wir gerade noch. Das Ziel ist das gleiche wie bei LiaScript, aber statt interaktive Kurse zu teilen, wollen wir Labore teilen. Dabei haben wir unser Wissen bei der Entwicklung des LiaScript-Klassenraums genutzt und auf Labore angewandt. Das Einzige, was man braucht, ist ein Browser; die Labore-Konfiguration und die Echtzeitdaten werden über Peer-to-Peer-Technologien übertragen. Im folgenden Video erzählt André etwas über die Entwicklung von LiaScript und zeigt am Ende auch den aktuellen Stand unserer RemoteLabore:
